In the business year 2008 ending on August 31, furniture retailer Ikea Bratislava s.r.o., a member of the Swedish Ikea group reported turnover of SKK 1.9 billion (EUR 63.07 million). Director General of Ikea for the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia, Andrew North informed that the figure represents a 17 percent y/y increase. Since last September until this August, Ikea Bratislava recorded approx. 2.3 million clients.
